Congrats on the new job! Go do your job. Do it to the best of your ability. >If so, what’s your advice for dealing with the public and trying to talk to others without stuttering? I wish I had some helpful advice. Just a few thoughts... Having a public facing job may help with your comfort level regarding your stutter. It might help your stutter a bit as well. Look people in the eye. Smile. I achieved fluency years ago. And yet I still occasionally block when asked my name. I think the stutter-on-my-name block is wired at a super deep level in my brain.lol. If you want to be able to speak fluently, I always advocate for speech therapy. I was fortunate enough to find a good therapy program that worked for me.
