An accountant would be a great (and high paying) job. I’m a group insurance underwriter and it’s fairly stuttering friendly, as you basically never talk to strangers, only internal employees, and most is by online chat programs and email anyways. There’s lots of white collar jobs that don’t involve too many phone calls, presentations or interactions with strangers. But let’s be honest, our condition is obviously a hindrance. If I didn’t have this, I’d probably have gone into sales, but I could never do that now and be happy. I would dread every day. I just accept that some things aren’t good fits for us, and focus on the things that are.
