But early on in secondary school, a few kids made a few comments that perhaps attempted to start stuff, but I just didn't care or react, and they moved on. 3. I've not been in any serious romantic relationships, but it's definitely affected my approaching girls. 3/4 girls I've really seen the light in their eyes die as soon as I opened my mouth. But there's 1/4, so it's not impossible I guess. Personally, I've never bothered approaching a 5th. 4. Just listen respectfully and attentively. Things to avoid are hurrying them along or ignoring them/shifting awkwardly as they speak. Stuttering in toddlers is very common, it's a part of learning to speak for a lot of kids and it normally clears up. Stuttering into adulthood is rare, although the causes aren't really understood. Support and love them as best you can and they'll be alright whatever happens.
