"how you don't **care** about the stutter? How do you take distance from it if it's inside you?" That's a very deep question. Suppose we go all the way back when we were small kids. Even if we stuttered, we didn't **care**. Because we paid no attention to the stutter problem. However, the more our stuttering developed, the more we paid **attention** to it until the triggers became hardwired (i.e. neurological). You can see this whole progress from a small kid until we became a chronic developmental stutterer [here in this PDF document](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1d8xZ4xb1DuZ__lmIWyT-oXQaJlArA8_K/view?usp=sharing). Pay close attention to how we focus more and more attention to our stutter during the stuttering development (until it's too late where we became chronic developmental stutterers as an adult). To answer your other question how to create distance between PWS and stuttering, is by reverse-engineering whereof your initial point is: the last table (in the PDF document), and slowly with small steps you trace back to previous tables.
