I have said that I am a part-time stutterer, meaning that I do not stutter all the time. If people ask about the part-time, I say that I stutter T, Th, and Sunday after noon. If someone asks why you stutter, tell them you are so awesome that you had to have a thing to make it level so you don't get ALL the \[insert preferred gender\].
