The best part of that is realizing you needed to put yourself in uncomfortable situations, and addressing/acknowledging fear/embarrassment. Your avoidance of “speech techniques” is another great realization. They are usually based on controlling articulatorsdon’t address the root of the problem, and tend to muddy up the dysfluency. Here are a few ideas that suppprt the stuff you already know. Disclose or start w brief voluntary repetition. Make eye contact (or equivalent) , exhale normally, begin slowly, and enunciate. Maybe try talking in phrases, kinda like how B. Obama speaks - similar to what you do, but pausing after chunks of words. Thanks for sharing your great realizations
