I won't downvote you. Walking is a skill that we learn as well. And while we learn to walk there is most certainly trying, effort, and anticipation of every step you make. Only after you've mastered the skill do you "just walk." ​ >To realise and let go of the control is the key to fluency. I assure you that the key to achieving fluency *for me* was relearning speech. It was through training and practice that I overcame my severe stutter to become fluent. It was very much conscious effort and control that were among the keys to developing fluency.
