I always envy those types of stutterers who either just don't "gaf" or are so comfortable in their own skin when they stutter. I'm way TOO self conscious and lack confidence in such situations. I would want the ground to open up and swallow me most times. Seriously, I've sometimes avoided walking into a store to buy something because I know I'll have difficulty asking questions or just communicating with staff, that I buy it online and wait days for something I could walk in and buy, to then ship to me.
