There is definitely something about this. I remember being completely fluent as a small kid, chatterbox.. feint memories of early reading classes and just interacting with other kids. Then somewhere, i don't exactly know when things took the wrong turn.. somewhere during Year 5/6, i started to stutter, being more nervous in front of a blackboard, people picking on me, cus of my speech. I think school in general was the main factor why my stutter is where it is now. At early age, stutter is really common... and if you are not fixing it, it becomes worse rand worse, especially with kids mocking you and teacher pressuring you as well. You start learning masking and escape mechanics and that's when it all goes to shit. ​ Just a theory.
