Interviews friggin' suck when you're young and/or inexperienced. I will give you that, for sure. Also, they're a high-pressure situation that causes a lot of anxiety, which makes stuttering even worse. But you know what didn't help? Giving a book report in front of the class and feeling horrible about barely being able to get some words out. Presentations and reading out loud are not the same as interviews. Interviews are generally one on one or one on two conversations. That's \*way different\* than a presentation in front of the class. Do I think exposure to something over and over can help get you over your anxiety and eventually help your reduce your stutter? Absolutely. But class presentations and reading out loud are not that. And you know what? Most interviewers are actually very understanding. I mean, for any job we're likely to actually be interviewing for (maybe not radio news announcer)... they will soon see that you are more than your speech and fluency. They're adults, and their job is to figure out what kind of person they're interviewing.
