Hard to say. You can tell her to talk to kids more and get out there, but it’s really up to her whether she wants to do that or not. It may just take time. May take one friend to befriend her to boost her confidence. I feel like at that age, kids would ask me why I talk funny and I tell them why, and then they just moved on. But then again, I was 8 almost 20 years ago. Times have definitely changed, and bullying has become a lot more prevalent in my opinion. I still think getting her in speech therapy would be very beneficial in finances allow for that.
