It’s like training wheels. Yes, maybe it’s good to let the kid fall on their face, but some kids aren’t strong enough for that. I regularly see ppl here say they block when they imagine talking to someone, and I sometimes would as well. Anyways, I suggested doing voluntary *repetitions* in front of the mirror, not necessarily blocks. Seeing yourself get out of a repetition can be very helpful. Additionally, makimg eye contact with yourself while you are talking (alone) can help to get ppl to make eye contact with a listener.
