Hi man. Someone with a severe chronic stutter here. Try to read a aloud, slowly over a mirror, prolonging the vowels and try whispering too. I would recommend both exercises atleast 25 mins a day for many months before you'll see a bit of improvement. I have been getting Speech therapy from about half a year and it's safe to say that on my best days, it is 80% gone, and on the worst it seems as if I'm back on day 1. I am getting good days more frequently now, though it does relapse every so often. But I know its part of the recovery and I won't give up. Good luck! I highly recommend speech therapy and actually understanding your stutter. It really helps.
