Hey man! I say this encouraging cliché stuff because I believe it is the only thing that can make a lasting positive impact on your quality of life. Hiding from difficult situations and feeling ashamed of your stuttering is doing the opposite. I know the shitty feeling in the chest, the "it's not worth it" lie we spin for ourselves to justify giving up. It's all fear and none of it is you. I'm there myself with a low social interaction job below my capacity that I took to get a break but it's not fulfilling, it's like living someone elses life. Sure I'm good at it but there's no fun in it. My colleagues know it, I know it... Even the new guy I was getting up to speed was like WTF why are you doing this when you got a masters degree waiting for you. It's tempting but don't take this easy path!
