Just want to second how crucial exposure therapy is. On the opposite of this, if you want to talk and decide not to because you might stutter that further reinforces your anxiety around talking. Now I'm not saying go start public speaking to thousands of people but look for little ways to gain confidence and grow from there. It can be a terrifying process, and that is okay but it pays off.
