Hm, I wonder if that's my fiance's reasoning for finding my stutter cute. It seriously threw me for a loop when he first told me. Stuttering is the one thing I'd likely give my right leg to get rid of, that's how much pain and agony it's caused me. Perhaps "endearing", as you've described it, would be a better fit than "cute". Stuttering in front of a person can be like risking a raw wound to a desert storm. Definitely not cute for us.
