My theory for a way to overcome a stutter

My theory for a way to overcome a stutter I've recently been thinking about something: Is it possible to "copy" someone else's speaking patterns? I mean, everyone has a way of speaking, fluent or not, like an accent, speaking fast or slowly, ect So, could we try to talk exactly like a specific person to reduce the stuttering? Or maybe just try to do voice impressions of some people? Because a lot of people including me don't stutter while speaking in a certain way like singing. What are your thoughts about this?
