The key word here is temporary. I’ve been smoking for a few years just to take the edge off before bed.. I find that long term it’s made my anxiety worse and because it does have ‘hangover’ effects the next day, it possibly does more damage if you smoke for long periods of time. Recreationally it’s harmless, but I’m currently cutting down and getting ready to stop all together. Brain fog sets in & I literally feel like my brain isn’t ‘firing’ properly which can impact speech as well.
