38 yo father here. I've been a stutter since i can remember, i have 4 kids (9, 8, 6 and 5) Beyond stutter, i started balding at 22. I learned that that's just life. I have way more problems right now that getting stressed out by my stuttering. Some people notice, some people don't. Of course i was bullied but no body was able to say it on my face, since i was national tae kwon do champion, very good at soccer (everybody wanted me on their team) and then i started muay thai. You have the best decision about your kids i totally support that, i would just say a couple of things: - Kids have many phases and those phases end up at some point, some issues are just that, issues that will go away given time. - Built your kids character and confidence on other things, like sports, singing, ballet...this will help them a lot. My wife and i decided we wanted kids able to speak in public, so we get them into singing classes. They're not that good but they're not afraid to speak in public. I hope this helps. Good luck
