My mom didn't even really acknowledge it tbh and I think it helped because I was never really self conscious about it but I still got mad when someone would mock me. That's just what kids do tho. I'm 26 now and maybe 3 times since I graduated hs someone has mocked me or made fun of my stutter. Adults don't really care about that shit but kids will torment you
