No, I'm not a therapist, but I've heard a lot from therapy contexts, including those odd situations that most speech therapists think aren't proper sessions. Maybe you should Google around a bit for descriptions of speech therapy sessions. If it's not recognizable to you, that might be something to consider. Maybe you could also look around in here, although I can't recall that we've had too many posts going into that level of detail. You'd need to make a comparison between your session experience and that of others.
