This "institute" as they call it, is called the Del Ferro institute. It's located in Amsterdam in the Netherlands. It was founded by Len (Leonard) Del Ferro. Del Ferro was born in Philadelphia in 1921, and he passed away in Amsterdam in 1992. He was a tenor and a vocal pedagogue (this is the work of Google translate, I have now idea of this is a thing in English). Del Ferro is the man who invented the method, called the Del Ferro method. I don't kow how the breathing technique they teach you is called, but they explain that it basically is the type of breathing you do when you are asleep. That's also why you're supposed to do the excersises do close before and after bed time. At this point I have no desire to come back. Mostly because I am afraid of failure (and I feel like I already failed anyway) and because my insurance doesn't cover it. If I wanna do the full 10 course again, that's going to be €1800 if I remember correctly. I think I'm better helped with seeing a psychological therapist. Because, while I'm not depressed or anything like that thankfully. I do lack a lot of self esteem and things like that, and aside from my gf every now and then I'm scared to talk to anyone about that. I feel like when I am more confident and positive about myself, everything else might become easier as well.
