I think that non-stutterers don't know much about stuttering. They only see it in the media, where famous people (almost) don't stutter anymore, such [Emily Blunt](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYrEEe1MdxE&ab_channel=EntertainmentWeekly) or [Joe Biden ](https://www.reddit.com/r/Stutter/comments/1bbrvw4/joe_biden_comforting_and_encouraging_a_young_boy/)(president). Non-stutterers see this media, and then think, "**oh, people with a stutter can improve so let me try and help you**"
