"What bothers me most is the anticipatory anxiety that occurs when I have to say a word with which I already know I am stopping." I recommend, observe you anticipatory anxiety "I will stutter" and instead of your normal reaction "it bothers me", learn to not react to this trigger. Because if you react to the trigger, you create a stutter expectation as if the stutter is 'real' in your mind. By not reacting to this trigger, you learn to not let the trigger bother you and that the trigger is not: \- true \- powerful \- fearful \- my opinion \- true intention Speak naturally and let your body speak automatically (don't focus on forming letters, don't focus on your mouth and don't let stutters bother you otherwise you 'react to the trigger' which makes the trigger real in your mind)
