You just described me exactly. I find it so much harder to execute 1 word responses then anything else because so much pressure is put on that one word. For example when people ask what my name is. It’s horrible. But then when we begin talking I’ll be good. Another example of this is When I get brave and try telling one of those long jokes with a story line that ultimately builds up to that final punchline. I can pretty much get through the entire joke with only getting caught on 2-3 words but when It’s time to hit em with the funny ending my throat just swells up and what’s comes out is “ Ughhhh”followed by silence followed by “wait how does it go again” “never mind” Fuck if people only knew how funny I was! Haha
