I once decided maybe seeing a speech therapist would help, turns out they were a stutterer too and they were too focused on teaching me how to say some words properly which was just dreadful. the place I went to was just all kids being brought by their parents, it was annoying and a huge mistake. Ended up finding a different therapist, who specialized in adults and his purpose was to figure out what’s causing you have speaking difficulties which ended up helping a lot more.
