Going in positive is better than going in negative, but It's an overly simplistic answer. Psychologists don't understand the depth and layers of stuttering so I generally wouldn't reply on them for speech therapy help over an slp. If you just jump into every scary situation with a _positive attitude_ you'll likely crash and burn. Positive attitude alone is not sustainable.
