My stutter makes me sound stupid

My stutter makes me sound stupid Does anyone else feel like their stutter makes them sound stupid? I don’t want to be big headed but I’d say I’m an intelligent, creative, articulate person. I don’t think I’m reaching my full potential in my retail job (not saying that retail is a bad career choice, but it’s not for me) and my stutter has held me back in pursuing other opportunities. But my GODDAMN stutter makes me sound like I can barely string a sentence together. When I’m trying to explain something to a customer, I wonder if they think I’m stupid. If I’m having some trouble at work with a customer, I know my stutter is making them resent me more because they probably think I’m too stupid to do the job. Not only this, I think my stutter has made me boring. I’d like to say I’m quite witty and I like to joke around sometimes. My stutter has really stopped me from cracking the odd joke that I think of. To sum up: my stutter makes me a boring, stupid, humourless person.
