Guy here, but I totally understand what you're saying. I often felt isolated myself because of my speech. However, I think that generally speaking, vulnerability is more expected from girls, because it is often associated with femininity. Whereas guys are more expected to display confidence and for fluent people, stuttering = lack of confidence. If I've ever heard anything about female stutter, it's something like cute or adorable. Never heard anything like that about guys though.
