There was this one really good-looking girl who said my stutter was cute and kinda sexy. I absolutely didn't believe her, but then I married her a while back, and she's still saying it, so I guess maybe she did mean it. I can be as self-hating as anybody here, don't get me wrong, and people who don't know us tend to jump to all kinds of dumb, patronizing conclusions about us. But those people who know us, and especially the ones who love us? We're way harder on ourselves than they ever would be. u/soliloquy_soul, am I making this up?
