Thank you! And I’m happy to provide any input you need. To answer your question, Caffeine (hadn’t done any in months) made it drastically worse coincidentally on the day of a presentation. Cannabis has helped it and intensified it depending on the strain and dose as well as my mental state during the high. Never stuttered on mushrooms. Alcohol doesn’t really affect it for me but can alter the psychological aspects of it which can help it if anxiety ever had an impact on the stutter. Kratom doesn’t seem to have a large effect on it but I have noticed that it puts me in a better flow state which ultimately reduces periods of disfluency and tensions. Kava, while calming my stress, makes my stutter worse. I view drugs as chemicals that alter one’s state of consciousness which is tied to thoughts, feelings, behaviors/default habits, and mood. I also like to consider the physiological effects that effect blood pressure and muscles. So I don’t think any recreational substances can consistently alleviate or induce stuttering.
