Fluency is achievable for many stutterers. Wish for fluency. Work towards fluency. If you don't like something, you have the power to change it. It's not easy. I dislike the blind analogy. You have a voice and you can speak. You can improve. A better analogy would be "I suck at X." As stutterers, we're bad at talking. This is a GROSS oversimplification, but it's closer than being blind. Blind is you can NOT see. You can speak. Through therapy and practice, you can become a stronger speaker. You can become more fluent. Normal fluency is possible for many. *We may always be stutterers, but that doesn't mean we will always stutter.*
