I haven't been clinically diagnosed as having social anxiety, but I'm always on edge and avoid social interactions. I imagine I'm on the low end of the spectrum. My nerves are always shot, face is regularly red due to being stressed out while speaking. My nervousness rubs off on people too, so I certainly don't enjoy that. I agree with your point that we want to take pills to magically fix everything but I have tried a few self help methods that have had little effect. I've tried meditation, CBD oil, fitness and proper diet, and keto diet that has had some improvement. I'll be starting speech therapy shortly since I obtained a referral today. It's just frustrating after a while.
