Evening stuttering prevention thoughts over tea. In psychology there is a theory used for people with fear of things such as heights, spiders ect.. I think its called the brute force theory where you have to confront what scares you most to overcome it. The shock from something like public speaking in front of a crowd if done semi regulary and combined with conditioning might have a positive effect. At university I found that the more I did public speaking in presentations the better I became and I stuttered less, this was similarly the effect I had when acting in front of crowds at high school. What do you guys think?
