It's not ugly. It's a part of you. And I would rather be me, with my stutter. Than someone else, without it. I will always hate hearing it, because I'm always trying to improve it. But you are not putting anyone through ANYTHING. I know PLENTY of "fluent" people that are a nightmare to talk to. The people you talk to should be honored that you take the time and effort, despite your difficulty, to talk to them at all. You, and I, and all of us, have as much right to be heard as everyone else. And some of the most TEDIOUS people to listen to, and perfectly fluent speakers. ;)
