>I have noticed that my speech has gotten worse over the last 2ish months or so, not exactly sure why. It's usually mild to moderate but nowadays it can be as bad as severe, in terms of blocking. This is definitely the most confusing stage of my life so far. So much uncertainty, which gives me anxiety - I genuinely don’t know what’s to come in the future. Will I ever be able to make use of my degree? ​ You answer your own thought in the next sentence. Your insecurity and general increase in anxiety is what's causing you to stutter more. Negativity breeds stuttering which in your case breeds more negativity. It's a shitty spiral which you have to get out of. Do something different! Think different! It's difficult but you have to change something up to get out of these patterns that currently aren't working well for you. ​ edit: As a stutterer it's extremely important to be aware of your everyday thoughts. You need to catch yourself thinking negative things. You think about your stuttering many many times each day and you have to make sure that you strip those thoughts of anxiety and negativity.
