Same, it doesn’t help when you have crippling anxiety on top of a speech problem. It’s very common, I attended the Maguire Programme when I was about 14 and I was told about ‘relapsing’. You can be totally fluent for a time, then completely revert back to a stutter. After all the hard work you put in, it can just unravel. I tried so hard to understand the causes and why? But like you, absolutely 0 idea. I love this group because it is a safe place and no one’s judging each other.
