I think it depends on the severity of the stutter, but is it possible that you could say up front that you have a slight stutter and when you're nervous (like in interviews) it tends to flare up? For some reason, I seem to do better in speaking situations when I "call it" beforehand. It is like a mental thing that if I am no longer hiding my stutter, then I am not afraid to stutter in front of that person...and then I don't seem to stutter nearly as much, if at all. I know everyone is different, but it might be an option? I do realize that admitting the stutter could work against you in a business setting, but it might be worth trying. I am a stutterer and have been in business (and now sales) most of my career. It is challenging, but keep your head up! You *can* do it.
