I major in Linguistics. I have classes with the best names in Phonology and Phonetics in my country. Most of them know only the basics about stuttering, every time I tried talking about it, they‘ll admit that so little is known about stuttering. In the field of speech disorders, stuttering is for sure, the one that has less studies unfortunately.
