With DD, you can place a mobile order and pick it up inside. Totally contact free – it'll have a little receipt with your name on it in a pickup area separate from the cash registers. I do that when I stop for gas. But even when I pick up in the drive thru, there's a lot I can switch up to get through saying I'm here to pick up an order for so and so. I can usually get to that point even if it starts out with a clumsy "Hi-morning-yes." Placing the order itself in the drive thru? Forget it lol. I have silent blocks. No way am I going to work up a sweat trying to get a word out (one that I cannot change, as I have already started ordering) only to have my efforts interrupted by a puzzled "Hello?" over a speaker. :)
