Coworker made a joke about my stutter.

Coworker made a joke about my stutter. My stuttering consists on blocking. Sometimes I am unable to let a word out and I get stuck. I noticed that when I talk to my close family I do block but then I look at them in the eyes and then the word comes out. When I talk to other people like coworkers I tend to look away or close my eyes because it's an unconcious way of trying to "escape" from the situation. Today I asked a coworker to teach me something and he told me "I will after you throw up". Probably because the face I make after I block it looks like I will throw up. It's an embarrasing face. He was a jerk and I didn't feel confident or powerful to comfront him but I will do it eventually. I plan to stutter more in front of coworkers: I will do something like "fake stutter" like stutter in repetitions for example "H-hey h-how is your d-d-day going" I will do that in order to be more open about how I talk and people will get more used to it. I hope it makes it less embarassing... I will try it since tomorrow and I have been trying in an online class and a phone call and it felt embarassing but good afterwards. I will embrace and overcome my stutter embarassement and if he MAKES another joke, he will Be confronted I PROMISE! I also will go to speech therapy to see if I can avoid closing my eyes, making weird faces when I stutter. Writing this inspired me and I want to write it to everyone to see!
