Why let your stutter define your career choice? A stutter is a neurological condition that affects our speech and it's in NO WAY our fault or responsibility to "fix" it. No more than it's the responsibility or fault of a person with cerebral palsy to "fix" their disability. Your skills and intelligence and hard work aren't defined by your fluency. Our stuttered speech is an equally valid way of speaking. WHAT you say is far more important than HOW you say it. As a personal example, I'm a doctor working in the NHS. I stutter openly. Whenever I meet a new person I make sure to mention something like "oh by the way I have a stutter, I hope you don't mind". I never hide my stutter. It's never stopped me from giving the best possible care to my patients, working well with the team and making friends. So honestly bro, you do literally whatever the fuck you want to do in life. Nothing is beyond your grasp. Stop giving a damn what others will think about your stutter. They can fucking get used to it. #stammeringpride #stutteringpride
