I cannot agree with you and there is wide consensus among people who stutter and professionals and researchers in the field that this is not so. Stuttering is caused by an interplay of various factors including a genetic component and a neurological basis (either causal or consequential). However, we are all entitled to our own beliefs about stuttering.
