This is not true. Severe disabilities 100% define a person. This can be in a good way or bad way. If you are severely disabled your life is just not the same as a "normal" person. You shouldn't even compare yourself to other people. People are social creatures and they will not look at you like you are human in most cases. You can use that as fuel to accomplish big things but at the end of the day its hard to win a race when your legs don't work.
