It's a fact that stuttering does interrupt the flow of conversation to a very bad extent depending on the severity. Conversation timing and tone are incredibly important when talking to others. A tone can completely change the context of what you're saying. But when you have a stutter...good luck making use of speech tone on a somewhat consistent basis. People are pieces of shit and they'll always be so. People will talk about you no matter what you do. The only thing a stutterer can do is what you said, controlling how you feel when people react negatively to your stutter.
