I met other people with speech impediments IRL!! 2 months ago I discovered that my city has an Asociation for people who stutter. I took a look at their FB and I saw theater classes. For obvious reasons this is outside my comfort zone but I decided to give it a try just to meet other people who stutter Guys, I can't describe how happy I am that I made this decision šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜ Turns out there's a whole community and a support group for people like us! They have group meetings where everyone talks about their experiences and I have never felt so included in any other social group. It's like **I found my people**. Not only because of the speech patterns, but also because of the trauma solving people like us have to go through. Theater class is so chill mainly because whenever someone gets stuck on a word I feel that everyone has patience and doesn't think weird things of us. I'm writting this to encourage everyone to find this groups in your city. I wish I had found this earlier in life. ā¤
