While their have been stuttering genes found by Dr Drayna and co (they actually made mice stutter) their is no proof about “imbalance signalling molecules in the brain”. This is one hypothesis of thousands. The reasons we stutter is in large part an enigma. Yes their is some evidence to show a dominant hemisphere, but still their is no proven cause of stuttering.
