Could you ask not to have your exam done orally? I did that a couple times in college and wish I'd asked in highschool. Most of the time there's no good reason for a test or project to have an oral component except the teacher thinks there's value in public speaking. But most of the time I bet if you ask, they'd let you get out of it. And if not, I would complain that you're not being given reasonable accommodation for your disability ... I know I don't like thinking of it as having a disability, but it's a phrase that will remind them that this is something they need to work around to help you to succeed. That's ultimately their goal, is to help you succeed. And they wouldn't ask the person in a wheelchair to run a race, so they shouldn't ask you to do an oral exam. (And there are laws that say they must give "reasonable accommodations" for people with disabilities)
