I’ve always found that ‘weirded out’ look to be more of a shock factor. Most people have never met someone who stutters. Hell, most movies that portray it just have a slight stammer. They don’t include the possible exorcist like lip movements we may do to get a sound out. Once that’s shock has past, like you said most don’t care
