Let's do a metaphor thingee! Say I have a ball. I throw it to a spot over there. Then I go pick it up and throw it again. Nothing to it, just me throwing a ball. Now, someone comes along and says I can get points if I throw the ball in a very exact spot. They go over there and draw a circle on the ground. So, I concentrate on getting the ball to go exactly in that circle. Same basic thing, but something's at stake now, which makes it harder. It makes it into a particular performance. - See what I mean?
